A Visit To The HIV Doctor

It's a cold foggy day here in Stoke On Trent, I've just been to the post office to get some money, As the title of the Blog suggests, this afternoon I have to go to the Hospital to see my doctor,Dr Hollows. I have to have the regular set of blood tests, that let me know what state my immune system is in. This will be the second set of results, when they come back from the lab that I will have had so far. I hope the results are better than last time, but time will tell.

I have to do some shopping & hopefully later I plan to go over to Leek to see my friends there. Later in the week I hope to go down to Bristol to see my mum & dad, so I need to sort out a train ticket for the journey. I have not been down there yet this year so I am looking forward to the trip.

I am thankful that the access to doctors & treatment in this counrty is free at the point of delivery, & I am aware of the struggle that many people with HIV face in different countries around the world where people have to pay to see doctors & for medication etc. I count myself lucky to be living here & my thoughts are with those who are not as fortunate as myself.

I hope to post an AudioBlog later on today, but for now that's about it...

OK, its been a few days and there's not been a new post or an answer to my email.
I really hope its because you took a holiday with family or friends and that the hiatus is NOT due to the results from the MD visit.

Thinkin' about you, Charlie!!
